CHAKRAS
The term" chakra" comes from Sanskrit and signifies wheel. They are energy centers located in the astral body. Chakras are energy centers from which white light, source of all life, is diffused in the body. The white light, made of the 7 colors (violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red) enables to maintain in us harmony. In the traditional oriental image, the chakra is seen as a lotus flower. This representation, conjugated to the wheel symbolism, gives the image of a circular form turning on itself when flower petals of the lotus are unfolding one after the other. Each chakra has its characteristics and corresponds to a color, to an element and to very precise physical and emotional functions. Furthermore each chakra vibrates to a particular frequency. The chakras influence on the health of our physical body is explained by the principal to which our astral body, where are located the chakras, vibrates at a higher frequency than our physical body, more dense. The troubles of the first are translated in the second, involving into diseases… The seventh main chakras correspond to the seventh main glands of the endocrinal system.
There are 7 primary colors, and 7 chakras. To each chakra corresponds a moral quality. To each of the chakras corresponds stones of the same color. (Each stone possesses in itself the vibrations of the luminous ray to which it is tuned.) To each of the chakras corresponds also sounds that we can use in meditation for example.
7. Crown Chakra, (pineal gland) Location: Top of the head - Color : Violet - Minerals : Amethyst (is the stone identified on the scroll bar of the web site) - Endocrine gland: Epiphys - Body system: Superior part of the brains, nervous system - Music note: Si Violet is the symbol of spiritual mystery. This color is the highest incarnation and the more subtle of the Light. It corresponds to the noblest elements of our nature. When the coronal chakra begins to open, we are attracted by the mystical or occult teachings. At that state of its development, we sometimes begin to perceive auras,to have a feeling of reverence and wonder in front of the beauty and immensity ofcreation. We also acquire an insight of universal truth. When it is completely open, that chakra blends with the third eye chakra to form a halo often represented around the heads of saints and illuminated beings.
6. The brow chakra, (pituitary gland). Location: Center of the forehead - Color : Indigo, midnight blue - Minerals: Azurite is the stone identified on the scroll bar of the web site) - Function : Intuition - Endocrine gland: Hypophys - Body System : Spinal column, posterior part of the brains , nose, ears, eyes, endocrinal system - Music note: La Extra Sensory Perception. Indigo is the symbol of the mystic frontier, the spiritual realisation. Psychic capacity, clairvoyance, capacity to see throughout time, mental capacity, spiritual guides, intuition, concentration.
5. Chakra of the throat, (thyroid gland). Location: Base of the throat - Color : Sky blue - Minerals : Lapis-Lazuli is the stone identified on the scroll bar of the web site) - Function : Communication - Endocrinegland: Thyroid - Body System: Throat, arms, trachea, metabolism - Music note: Sol When awaken and purified, it favours telepath and canalisation of information. Humanism, speech, communication, self expression, truth, wisdom, knowledge and honesty. Blue is the symbol inspiration, devotion, of infinity and religious aspirations. This color rises, exalts and inspires. Its vibration gives birth to calm, insight and valorises sleep.
4. Heart Chakra. Location: Center of the chest - Color : Emerald Green / pink - Minerals: Aventurine is the stone identified on the scroll bar of the web site) - Function: Love - Endocrine gland: The thymus, controlling the immune system. - Body System: Heart, liver, respiratory system, circulatory and nervous system. Note: When we are scared, this fear manifests itself by the 'influence of the chakra on the nervous system and the liver. The liver is tied to the color green, where the expression"being green of fear" takes its origin. - Music note: Fa Compassion and capacity to take root in the energy which circulates in the body. Corresponds to feelings, forgiveness, unconditional love, comprehension, compassion, faith and availability. Green is the bridge between the three first colors, in relation with the physical plan, and the last three colors, which are related to the spiritual plan. Therefore green is the center of the spectre. In nature, the green ray irradiates from all parts (forests, fields) and its beneficent effect can re-establish a defect nervous system by permitting to acquire new energies. Green is the symbol of harmony, sympathy, creativity, and health. Its vibration calms and balances the nervous system.
3. Chakra of the solar plexus. - Hebraic signification: The jewel of the navel. This chakra is located right over the navel. It is our internal sun, our « electrical central ». Responsible for receiving vibrations and capturing energy of others persons, places or events. Corresponds to self control, to desire control, to authority, to transformation, to happiness and to energy. It reacts to thoughts in relation to fear, anxiety and worry. For the majority of people this chakra is always unbalanced from their emotional turmoil. Thanks to this chakra, we can perceive thoughts and emotions of others and eventually draw energy from them, consciously or not, from people from which we enter in contact. We can protect the solar plexus by visualizing a golden disc on its location. In acupuncture, we say that a person with stomach problems has the tendency to wrap herself around her body and around her solar plexus, as to protect her from outside aggressions. When we have an emotional choc, we often put our hand at the plexus. It is where "it blocks". Stomach and nervous system are part of the same family.
2. Furthermore, it acts on sexual organs, the blatter, the ovaries, the periods, and the kidneys. This chakra is located right underneath the navel, above the sexual organs, at the base of the pubis hair. It is the source of the etheric body’s vitality and leads sexuality and conception as well as the relation love / hatred. Its relation with sexuality gave it the reputation to be the center of pleasing habits for food, drinks and all material comforts.
1. The root Chakra Location: Perineum, point between the anus and the sex organs

This chakra is located at the base of the spinal Colum between the genital organs and the anus, it is the seat of the Kundalini "the energy of the snake" represented by a snake wrapped around itself. The awakening of the Kundalini is part or a yogi initiatic road. The snake spoken of here could, as everything that comes from the energetic phenomena, be seen as double, as two snakes of energy wrapping themselves around the spinal colum, and which the heads are positioned in the psychic visualisation zone located in the back of the ears, constituting the major part of the ‘caducei’. It is the root of our Vital Tree, the place of cosmoteluric forces which animates us as a fountain.
